303) The Boss’s Urgent Proposal by Susan Meier
Donna Noble was head over heels in love with her breathtaking boss, Kerr Avon… but he had no idea. And four years of loving the eye-catching executive from afar had taught her that it was time to move on. But when Avon learned that his ace secretary was leaving town, he demanded she stay… under his roof!
Now with the blonde beauty at arm’s length, Avon suddenly realized that he wanted her for more than her excellent organizational skills… but a commitment was out of the question. Would Avon ever put his doubts of love aside and allow Donna’s steamy kisses to touch him hardened heart?

I do like it when people get their own actual professions. No comment on Avon/Donna as a ship.

This is a fun premise for a comedy, but the actual book was not very funny

[Description] A black and white graphic of a man lying on his back, asleep. He has a large, bald head and his arms are thrown up over his [Text]He'd done it, and it was the only thing he could think of to say. He'd [newline] spoken the words. He'd offered his body as a peace offering of sorts.
Also, I got very sad and irritated with this main character, just for being mean and unpleasant to his friends because he’s so desperate for human connection and yet he just can’t give it to anyone without feeling miserable
